Maria grew up in Michigan and attended the University of Michigan where she received her B.S. in Biology. After graduation, Maria moved to Florida, where she completed her M.S. in Clinical Nutrition through Rutgers University and her dietetic internship at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in West Palm Beach. 

 

Maria is passionate about helping others develop non-restrictive sustainable eating habits that support their well-being. She works with clients to improve their relationship with food, exercise, and their bodies using philosophies including intuitive eating, weight neutrality, and the All Foods Fit model. Maria worked as the Sports Nutritionist for the Tampa Bay Rays as well as the Center for Discovery, where she led intensive outpatient eating disorder programming. Currently, Maria helps clients of all different backgrounds through one on one nutritional counseling, combining her deep knowledge of exercise with advanced nutrition counseling skills. 

 

Maria spends her free time cooking, baking, running, playing with her nieces and nephews, and spending time with her border collie.

Jessica Jaeger

Founder

Jessica was born and raised in Long Island, NY. She was an English major at the University of South Carolina's Honors College and received her B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics from New York University. Jessica went on to receive her M.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics with a concentration in exercise physiology from Long Island University.

Jessica is an expert Registered Dietitian who specializes in eating disorders, intuitive eating, and sports nutrition. She has worked at inpatient and outpatient eating disorder treatment centers, on college campuses as a dietitian and adjunct professor, and in private practice. Jessica is currently an adjunct professor at Hofstra University. She offers individual eating disorder nutrition therapy, intuitive eating coaching and a variety of workshops. Jessica loves working with clients who want to improve both their physical and mental health through food.

Jessica and her team of colleagues published a study in the academic journal Nutrition Today entitled "Dealing with Disordered Thoughts and Behaviors in Youth," which serves as a resource for physicians, Registered Nurses, Registered Dietitians, and psychotherapists navigating disordered eating screening and treatment. Jessica is also the creator of the respected parents' resource Creating a Food and Body Neutral Home.

In her free time, Jessica enjoys cooking and baking, yoga, reading, spending time outdoors and on the water, and spoiling her two rescue dogs, Penny and Duke.
